The trailer for Angelina Jolie's directorial debut In the Land of Blood and Honey has been released.
The film is centred around a love story that takes place during the Bosnian Civil War in the '90s and stars local actors Zana Marjanovic, Goran Kostic and Rade Serbedzija.
Jolie wrote the script and shot the movie in both Serbo-Croatian, which was spoken at the time of the war, and English. It is due for release in America on December 23.
The actress recently admitted that she was terrified at the prospect of writing and directing her own film for the first time.
"I've always said other people's words in my life," Jolie explained. "I had never written anything. So to sit down and put words on paper was terrifying, because it was so personal."
Jolie was presented with the Heart of Sarajevo award at the Sarajevo Film Festival back in August for highlighting the plight of Bosnian refugees in In the Land of Blood and Honey.
